In fact, humanity’s search for ways to improve physical beauty is as old as mankind itself.

Rhinoplasty was first performed in Ancient Egypt , while a Bolognese plastic surgeon took 20 days to complete a Rhinoplasty in 1597.

The Alexandrian physician, Pavlos of Aegina developed a procedure in the 17th century to remove breasts in men. Its technical name was Gynecomastia which is still done today but in a different way.

Today’s Liposuction as a cure for obese people is also known in the past. In 1190 a plastic surgeon cut open the belly of Count Dedo V von Rochlitz-Groitzsch to remove excessive fat.

The rise of Siphilitis in the 16th century and the world wars which left many people with a missing nose drove to the need of Rhinoplasty. Rhinoplasty which was then extremely painful and life risky was the only vehicle for a then plastic surgeon to take off from his patient, the stigma of being polluted and polluting by replacing the missing part of their nose.

The first Face Lift took place in 1901 by the plastic surgeon Eugen Hollander on a Polish aristocrat. However, it was the plastic surgeon Charles Conrad Miller who has taken credit for having developed Face Lift’s procedures.

While the German plastic surgeon Johann K. G. Fricke introduced the modern term Blepharoplasty in 1829 it was again Miller who had developed the procedure by 1906 and whose methods are used until now.

Breast Augmentation started to boom in 1950 where the notion of having too small breasts is a disease, prevailed. Therefore, women with Hypomastia addressed a plastic surgeon who in his turn with the help of Breast Augmentation cured the psychological rather than the physical distress.

In 1881 the plastic surgeon Edward Ely corrected a “bat ear deformity” on a twelve-year-old boy. Ely undertook Otoplasty because the child had been ridiculed by his peers and he felt his duty as a plastic surgeon to help him.

In order to enhance their physical beauty and maintain their young appearance film stars turn to their plastic surgeon to undergo Rhinoplasty, Liposuction, Breast Augmentation, Breast Reduction, Otoplasty, Brachionoplasty, Botox .

When the famous actress Hildegard Knef had a facelift in 1980 everybody was socked. Jane Fonda admitted her Breast Augmentation in 1988 only after the death of her husband.

Throughout the world, aging and physical deformities are regarded as a condition that should be changed by any possible means.

With the help of Liposuction, Brachionoplasty, Face and Thigh Lift, Botox, Rhinoplasty, Breast Augmentation or Reduction a plastic surgeon can really do wonders.
