How does this system work?
The Palomar system, with the aid of specialized handpieces emits pulses of light into the hair follicles. The light is absorbed by the pigments in the follicles and converted to heat. The heat then loosens the hair and prevents the cells from growing new hair.
What makes Palomar pulsed light different from a laser?
Although lasers and pulsed light are almost the same Palomar Pulsed Light System approaches a much wider area than most lasers when it spreads the light.
