How does Palomar Skin tightening function?
The Palomar Lux Deep IR Fractional Infrared Handpiece sends infrared light by fractional beams deep into the dermis, bringing about the natural healing of the body respond. Consequently, new tissues are created and skin laxity is reduced.
Why is this system superior to the others?
Instead of using one large beam to send infrared light to the skin, the Lux Deep IR sends an array of small beams which creates heated columns in the dermis. These heated columns are surrounded by unaffected tissue with which faster healing is promoted. Just because this system leaves the untreated area unaffected it is much safer, and comfortable than other similar treatments.
